25 Open Pollinated Dahlia Seeds Dahlias do not reproduce identical varieties from seed (only by tuber or cutting), therefore each seed will produce a never-before-seen variety of dahlia - the magic of bees at work! They are wonderful to watch and make each new bloom's appearance seem like Christmas morning! The majority of dahlias grown from seed will have open centers. A fun, easy to grow project for kids & adults alike. If you love a bloom, you can save the tubers come fall to grow again the following year. Images here are examples from my seed.
